From recovered paper to new paper products: Deinking raw materials from CREMER OLEO for efficient paper recycling
What is deinking?
Deinking works in a similar way to doing laundry: first, the recovered paper is defibred and processed with water. Then, a kind of detergent is added to detach the old printing ink from the paper fibres and remove it from the suspension.
The raw materials used for this process depend on various factors, including the paper quality, the printing ink and the desired end product.
Deinking raw materials for different requirements
CREMER OLEO offers four different deinking products based on renewable raw materials. This enables us to provide suitable solutions for the diverse needs of our customers in the paper industry.

Flexibility in packaging and delivery
For paper manufacturers, it is not only the right raw material that matters. Availability, reliable delivery and flexible packaging solutions are just as important.
CREMER OLEO keeps standard products such as fatty acids and fatty acid blends in stock and can therefore respond to customer enquiries at short notice. Individual delivery and packaging requirements can also be implemented, for example for companies with specific production processes or just-in-time requirements.
Sodium soap from our own production
At our own site in Uetersen near Hamburg, CREMER OLEO produces solid sodium soap – as one of only a few suppliers in Germany. The sodium soap consists of small pellets, making it easy to handle, store and dose.
The site in the Hamburg metropolitan region is very well connected in terms of transport infrastructure. This enables short delivery routes, fast response times and a high level of supply reliability.
